Investing 150 billion VND to build a road connecting a hydroelectric dam in Son La
Son La - The consortium of 5 contractors will construct the road connecting Hua Chien village, the old Chieng Muon commune to the Nam Chien hydropower dam.
The Road project from Hua Chien village, Chieng Muon commune to Nam Chien hydropower dam, Ngoc Chien commune, Muong La district (old) was approved by the People's Committee of Son La province under Decision No. 1489/QD-UBND dated July 28, 2024.
The above project belongs to Group B, with a total investment of more than 150.7 billion VND, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development of Son La Province is the Project Investor.
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, on December 24, the investor issued a decision approving the results of contractor selection for Package No. 19: Construction of the project (from Km4 - Km17+100m).
Package No. 19 was widely bid online, priced at more than 106 billion VND from the central budget to support the implementation of Sub-project 1, Project 4 of the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021-2025 and the provincial budget.
According to the investor's decision, "licensee consortium for package No. 19: Construction of works (from Km4 - Km17+100m)" won the above construction package for nearly 106 billion VND, the package implementation period is 300 days.
The above consortium includes 5 contractors: Asia Construction Joint Stock Company, Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company 355, Quynh Ngoc Joint Stock Company, Construction Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, SORICOM Company Limited.
According to the project documents, the road is built with the starting point of Km0+00 intersecting with Km1+300 of Chieng Muon to Chieng An road (in Hua Chien village, Chieng Muon commune, old Muong La district, now Muong La commune); the end point of the route intersects with Km18+300, Provincial Road 109 (Nam Chien hydroelectric dam area, Ngoc Chien commune).
For package No. 19, the above contractors will construct a section of the route with a total length of 17.10km, the construction items include: Roadbed, road surface, reinforced concrete bridge and prestressed reinforced concrete concrete, steel truss embankment and cement concrete embankment; sewers, drainage, coordination, traffic safety, signs.
As part of the project, previously from the end of April 2025, Package No. 14: Construction of the project (Km0 - Km4) has completed the selection of contractors and is under construction.
