Military enlistment day in Khanh Hoa supports 3,573 young people to enlist
Khanh Hoa has just organized a military service day to send off 3,573 young people enlisting. Among them, more than 1,300 people wrote voluntary applications.
On the morning of March 4, together with localities under Military Region 5, Khanh Hoa province solemnly organized the 2026 military service handover ceremony, seeing off 3,573 young people on their way to perform their sacred duty to the Fatherland.
The enlistment day is organized simultaneously at 10 locations in the province including: August 14 Stadium (Van Ninh commune); July 16 Stadium (Ninh Hoa ward); Khanh Hoa Sports Technical Training Center (Bac Nha Trang ward);
Dien Khanh Stadium (Dien Khanh commune); Command Headquarters of Area 3 - Cam Lam Defense Command (Cam Lam commune); October 18th Square (Cam Ranh ward); Bac Ai Dong Commune Service and Career Center; April 16th Square (Dong Hai ward); Ninh Phuoc Commune Central Square; Ninh Chu Commune Cultural and Service Supply Center.
Out of a total of 3,573 young people enlisted this year, there are 3,000 young people performing military service and 573 young people participating in the People's Police service.
New recruits performing military service are assigned to many units under the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 5 such as: Air Defense Division 377; Air Force Officer School; Naval Brigade 957;
Training Center - Naval Region 4; Signal Corps; Special Forces Corps; Engineering Corps;
Infantry Division 2; Infantry Division 305; Information Brigade 575; Artillery Brigade 368; Staff Department (Military Region 5); Provincial Military Command; Provincial Border Guard Command.
For 573 young people performing the duties of the People's Police, the receiving units include: Mobile Police Command; Department of Police for Prison Management, Compulsory Education Institutions, Reformatory Schools (C10); Department of Immigration Management; Office of the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security; Provincial Police.
According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Van Toan - Deputy Commander cum Chief of Staff of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command, the quality of young people enlisting in 2026 has been clearly improved compared to previous years in all three criteria: Health, qualifications and politics.
Specifically, young people aged 18-21 account for 82%; the rate of university, college, and vocational secondary school graduates reaches 13.5%; health type 1 and type 2 accounts for more than 46%.
Among them, there are 16 party members, 22 civil servants participating in military service and more than 1,300 young people writing voluntary applications.
