Da Nang International Fireworks Festival honored on the global festival map

Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 has just been voted by Travel + Leisure magazine into the list of the most worth experiencing summer festivals globally, becoming the only representative of Vietnam to be included in the ranking.

According to Travel + Leisure's assessment, riverside and coastal destinations in the period from late spring to mid-summer always have a special attraction thanks to their open space and emotional connection capabilities.

In Da Nang, the Han River area is "transformed" into a large-scale outdoor stage, where fireworks, music and light blend together, creating a unique experience for tourists.

DIFF 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 30 to July 11 on the banks of the Han River, gathering 10 fireworks teams from 9 countries and territories. The festival includes 6 nights of competition with continuous themes such as Nature, Heritage, Culture, Creativity, Vision, closing with the final night "United Horizons".

Not only stopping at fireworks displays, the festival also accompanies a series of cultural, artistic, and street music activities along central routes such as Bach Dang, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere that lasts throughout the summer.

Participating in the Travel + Leisure ranking is considered a recognition of the scale, quality of organization as well as the direction of experiential tourism development of Da Nang.

Through this, the city continues to affirm its position as a leading festival and event destination in the region, attracting domestic and foreign tourists.
