Party and State leaders attend the special session attended by the 14th National Party Congress
General Secretary To Lam, leaders of the Party, State, and delegates visited the National Convention Center (Hanoi) to hold a special session of the 14th National Congress.
On the morning of January 19, 2026, after visiting President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offering incense at the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs, General Secretary To Lam, leaders of the Party, State and delegates attending the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (14th National Congress) traveled to the National Convention Center (Hanoi) to hold a preparation session.
The 14th Congress was held with the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", demonstrating the consistent spirit in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of important political tasks of the Party in the coming term.
The Congress was attended by 1,586 delegates, representing more than 5.6 million party members nationwide.
The 14th National Party Congress has the theme: "Under the glorious flag of the Party, join hands and be determined to successfully implement the country's development goals by 2030; be self-reliant, confident, and move forward strongly in the era of national growth, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, prosperity, civilization, happiness, and steadily moving towards socialism".
