Lam Dong announces forest protection hotline

On the afternoon of January 5, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that the announcement of hotlines aims to promptly receive and handle information related to violations of forest laws, forest fire risks and arising emergency situations.

People, agencies and organizations that detect acts of deforestation, illegal logging, risk of forest fires or forest-related incidents can directly call the announced phone numbers for timely reception and handling.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Mobile Forest Ranger and Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Teams to arrange standing forces, prepare means and materials to coordinate handling when receiving reports; ensure the motto "quick response, timely response", minimize damage to forest resources.

At the same time, the units are responsible for synthesizing the results of inspections, verification, and reporting to the Forest Protection Department before 4:00 p.m. every day via phone number 02633.822.441.

The Provincial People's Committee and Lam Dong forest rangers call on people to proactively provide information when detecting signs of violating forest laws. All reports are received and processed in accordance with regulations and ensure the confidentiality of the information provided.
