Lai Chau starts construction of 3 projects worth over VND10,000 billion

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony at the Son Binh Urban Garden Resort Complex project (Son Binh commune) was Mr. Tran Duc Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

Accordingly, the Son Binh dia chat garden project is invested by Northern Cement Trading Joint Stock Company with a total investment of up to VND6,000 billion.

The project has a total area of over 106 hectares, divided into 6 functional subdivisions. The goal of the "land park" is to create a diverse resort tourism complex, serving about 300,000 visitors/year.

With the Hoang Lien Pass Road tunnel project connecting the Sa Pa area (Lao Cai) with Tam Duong (Lai Chau) invested by the Lai Chau Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The project has a total investment of VND 3,300 billion, the estimated investment capital from the central budget is VND 2,500 billion and the Lai Chau provincial budget is VND 710 billion, other capital is VND 90 billion.

Accordingly, the project has a total length of about 8.8 km, of which the main tunnel is 2.63 km long, the secondary tunnel is 2.65 km long, and will be implemented in the 2023-2027 period.

When completed, the project will replace the 22 km most dangerous mountain pass on National Highway 4D, shortening travel time from 50-120 minutes to about 11 minutes. The project is expected to be completed in 2027.

For the investment project to build Doan Ket Lai Chau Social Housing Area (in Doan Ket ward), invested by Lan Hung Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company (Bac Ninh province).

This project has a total estimated investment of more than 905 billion VND, of which the investor's capital is 220 billion VND and other legal mobilized loans are more than 685 billion VND.

The project will be implemented on an area of about 31,000m2, a social housing area will accommodate about 3,000 people.
