In the long term, the city has a policy of renovating the intersection of Truong Chinh - Bui Vien road in the Investment Project to build a road connecting National Highway 5 - National Highway 10 through Kien An. The Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Traffic and Agricultural Works is preparing the project's technical design; construction is expected to start in the second quarter of 2026.
In order for the project to be implemented quickly and effectively, the Secretary of the City Party Committee suggested that local authorities pay attention to speeding up site clearance work. Investors need to focus on standard technical design options to avoid having to adjust the design. Along with that, shorten the time for administrative procedures; select a reputable contractor with sufficient capacity to construct the project. During the construction process, ensure safety, have a traffic diversion plan, focus on construction at night to reduce congestion.
