Amidst the parallel war, DK1 officers and soldiers firmly believe in the 14th National Party Congress

In the exciting competitive atmosphere of the entire Party, people and army towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, on the DK1 platforms in the midst of the continental shelf in the South of the Fatherland, officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2 are still steadfastly holding on day and night.

The officers and soldiers turned political trust into concrete and practical actions to successfully complete the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands.

To meet the requirements of the mission in special conditions at the head of the wind, officers and soldiers of DK1 platforms are constantly improving the quality of training, combat readiness, mastering weapons and technical equipment.

The training work was implemented according to the basic, practical, and solid motto, focusing on practice, thoroughly grasping combat plans and handling situations.

Promoting the heroic tradition of the DK1 Battalion of "Refined courage; overcoming all difficulties; solidarity, discipline; maintaining sovereignty", the boats are not only a "lifeline" at sea but also a solid support for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea for a long time.

Looking towards the 14th National Party Congress, the Party Committee and the DK1 Battalion Command launched a peak emulation campaign to accelerate and make breakthroughs, achieving achievements to celebrate the Congress and celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (06.01.1946 - 06.01.2026).

With the spirit of "high determination, drastic action, practical effectiveness", the emulation movement has spread strongly on the platforms, focusing on contents such as good coaching, high combat readiness, strict discipline, building a disciplined, exemplary unit, mastering weapons and technical equipment.

At the same time, Party committees and commanders of the platforms will step up propaganda and political education, clarifying the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the meaning and importance of the 14th National Congress.

Thereby building for officers and soldiers a strong political stance, a spirit of solidarity, unity, readiness to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Sharing from the DK1/10, Captain Tran Van Luc - Political Commissar of the unit - said that the officers and soldiers were very excited and had great expectations for the 14th National Party Congress.

We believe that the Congress will propose the right policies and decisions, selecting a team of worthy leaders to make the country develop breakthroughs in the new era.

The country's achievements under the leadership of the Party are the motivation for us to be confident and steadfast in defending the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, Captain Luc emphasized.

At the DK1/8 platform, Captain Nguyen Thanh Khiem - Commander of the platform - said that the unit has thoroughly grasped the tasks to each officer and soldier, developed a combat readiness plan, increased forces on duty, observed, detected targets from a distance, practiced combat plans thoroughly, and was not passive or surprised in any situation.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Hieu - Party Cell Secretary, Political Commissar of the DK1/16 platform, promoting the leadership role of the Party Cell and solidarity and unity within the unit is a key factor for officers and soldiers to complete their tasks.

For the young soldiers who celebrate Tet away from home for the first time, the emotions become even more special. Sergeant Nguyen Pham Nhat Khuong, a soldier in the DK1/10, said he was proud to be trained in the military environment and wanted to soon be in the ranks of the Party, contributing his youth to the Fatherland.
