Dong Thap announces information about a social housing project with a scale of more than 800 apartments

Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision to announce information about the Binh Thanh 1 Social Housing project.

Accordingly, the Binh Thanh 1 Social Housing project is located in Binh Thanh commune, with the goal of building a Social Housing Area to serve the housing needs of people and workers inside and outside the area.

The preliminary scale of the project has a land use area of about 9.93 hectares, with about 816 apartments/apartment, including: 100 townhouses; high-rise apartments (5 floors) with about 138 apartments; low-rise apartments (2 floors) with about 578 apartments.

The population in the planning is expected to be 3,264 people (each apartment/household has an average of 4 people). The total estimated investment capital is about more than 969 billion VND.

The Binh Thanh 1 Social Housing Project will be implemented from the second quarter of 2027 to the second quarter of 2029. The construction investment project will be completed in the third quarter of 2029.

Currently, in Dong Thap province, there is also a construction of a Trade Union social housing project for workers and laborers to rent, part of the project to build a Trade Union Institution in My Tho Industrial Park, Trung An Industrial Cluster, invested by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with trade union financial capital according to Housing Law No. 27/2023/QH15 dated November 27, 2023.

The project with main items including: 4 blocks of 8-storey houses with a total floor area of 38,460m2, with 526 rental apartments closed with basic equipment and furniture: elevators, beds, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets... and 2 2-storey cars with a total floor area of 1,200m2.
