Public service units are oriented and arranged
The Ministry of Home Affairs shall preside over and coordinate with ministries, branches and localities to develop a comprehensive plan to arrange public service units from the central to local levels.
On January 22, according to information from the Ministry of Home Affairs, responding to recommendations from localities on the organization and operation of public service units, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that it has been synchronously implementing many solutions to perfect institutions, ensuring compliance with the two-level local government model and practical requirements.
Regarding the orientation of arranging public service units, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that it has presided over and coordinated with ministries, branches and localities to develop a comprehensive plan for arranging public service units from the central to local levels.
This content is reported to the Government Party Committee to report to the Central Steering Committee on the summary of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, clearly defining the principles, plans and orientations for arrangement in accordance with the characteristics of each sector, field and practical conditions of each locality.
In the coming time, the Ministry of Home Affairs will continue to advise the Government to issue a Resolution on the action program to implement Conclusion No. 210-KL/TW, in which the orientation and roadmap for arranging public service units from the central to local levels will be clearly defined.
Regarding the proposal on planning the network of public service units by industry, field and the list of basic and essential public service services, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that Decree No. 283 clearly defines the responsibility of the Ministry managing the industry and field to submit to the Prime Minister for approval of the network planning (according to the Planning Law) or orientation on planning the network of public service units by industry, field and the list of basic and essential public service services by industry and field.
This is the basis for ministries, branches and localities to proactively arrange public service units under their management, meeting the requirements for providing public service in the area according to the provisions of law.
