The working delegation of the President visited red addresses in Da Nang
Da Nang - Continuing the series of gratitude activities, President Luong Cuong offered incense and flowers at many "red addresses" in Da Nang.
At the Monument to Hero of Martyr Nguyen Van Troi (An Thang Ward), the Central delegation led by President Luong Cuong observed a minute of silence and burned incense to commemorate the loyal soldiers of the Saigon - Gia Dinh urban movement. The activity took place in a solemn atmosphere, expressing deep gratitude for the indomitable spirit of Hero Nguyen Van Troi - a symbol of revolutionary heroism.

Mr. Nguyen Van Troi was born on February 1, 1940 in Thanh Quyt village, Dien Ban district, Quang Nam province (old), a soldier in the inner city villa. He died on October 15, 1964, when he was only 24 years old.
The memorial house of Hero of Martyr Nguyen Van Troi was built in the grounds of Dien Ban Martyrs' Cemetery in An Thang Ward, Da Nang City - which has been recognized as a Provincial and Municipal Historical Site and is a red address to educate the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary spirit for today's and future generations.

Next, the delegation went to Xuan Ky village, Go Noi commune (Dien Ban ward, Da Nang) to offer incense to commemorate General Director Hoang Dieu - an honest and loyal officer who chose death to keep the spirit of the capital when it collapsed.
Here, delegates expressed their gratitude, and affirmed the historical value, morality and patriotism that General Director Hoang Dieu left for posterity.

Leaving the memorial area, the delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ngon in Bao An village, Go Noi commune. Ngon's mother is 105 years old this year, with a husband and daughter who died in the resistance war against the US. The President kindly visited, encouraged and expressed his appreciation for the great sacrifices that the mother's family has made for the Fatherland.
The representative of the working delegation affirmed that the Party, State and people always remember, care for, protect and show gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution.

The series of activities of the Central delegation on the National Great Unity Day (November 18) is not only a traditional ceremony but also a reminder of the responsibility to preserve and promote the tradition of patriotism and the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source". Thereby, contributing to educating the younger generation about courage, humanity and the spirit of defending the Fatherland.
