14th National Party Congress: Orientation for sustainable national development
Cadres, Party members and people of Ninh Binh province expect the 14th National Party Congress to make the right decision to meet the requirements of national development in the new period.
The 14th National Congress of the Party is taking place in Hanoi, a political event of special significance, with the task of clearly defining opportunities, challenges, directions, tasks and strategic solutions, creating momentum for the country's rapid and sustainable development in the new period.
Following the working sessions of the Congress through mass media, cadres, party members and people of Ninh Binh province expressed their deep confidence and hoped that the Congress would make the right decisions to meet the requirements of national development in the new period.
Having followed the Party's congresses many times, Mr. Tran Van An (born in 1956, Head of Vi Hoang 1 Residential Group, Nam Dinh Ward) said that this Congress has a very special meaning.
In the context of the country developing strongly and integrating more and more deeply, the decisions passed at the Congress will create a solid foundation, a long-term orientation for the development of the country and the future of the nation in many years to come.
With nearly 40 years of attachment and dedication to grassroots movement work, Mr. An always has full confidence in the leadership of the Party. According to him, building a clean and strong Party is not only a regular and long-term task but also an urgent requirement in the current context.
He expressed his belief and hope that the 14th National Party Congress will continue to propose stronger and more effective solutions in the work of Party rectification, resolutely fighting against corruption, waste and negativity to strengthen people's trust.
From his practical work in residential areas, Mr. An also expressed his hope that the documents at the 14th National Party Congress would continue to pay more attention to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people.
He believes that, along with economic development, the Party and State will continue to improve the social security system, focus on investment in health and education; at the same time, issue preferential policies on health insurance, medical examination and treatment, especially for the elderly and families in difficult circumstances, so that all people can enjoy the fruits of development.
Having been attached to the field for more than half of his life, Mr. Ha Van Le, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Quynh Nhat commune, emotionally shared that the role and position of farmers has never been enhanced as it is now when the Draft Document of the 14th National Party Congress continues to affirm the viewpoint of farmers as the subject, the center in the strategy for agricultural development, rural economy and new rural construction.
Mr. Le expressed his hope that in the coming term, the Party and the State will have more synchronous decisions to remove difficulties for agricultural production, especially in the context of increasingly complex natural disasters, high material prices, while agricultural output is unstable.
At the same time, the Party and the State issued mechanisms and policies to promote restructuring the agricultural sector in a modern and sustainable direction, especially developing concentrated production areas to improve the quality and value of agricultural products.
In addition, people also hope that the Congress will pay more attention to perfecting the rural infrastructure system, especially in-field and irrigation transportation; increase support for science and technology transfer, promote green agriculture, organic agriculture, and adapt to climate change. Along with that are policies to encourage businesses to invest in agriculture, create jobs, and increase income for rural people.

Through monitoring the working sessions of the Congress, Mr. Do Dinh Diem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vi Khe Ward Party Committee expressed his deep appreciation for the Report on documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress presented by General Secretary To Lam.
The report clearly demonstrates the crystallization of collective intelligence, the result of the process of collecting extensive opinions among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life; at the same time, clearly identifying the strategic focuses and breakthroughs for the coming term, especially emphasizing the key role of the "people's heart front", ensuring that all policies and decisions are aimed at the interests of the people, firmly strengthening the people's trust in the Party.
The report on documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress clearly identified the goal of rapid and sustainable development, with the aspiration to bring the country into a new stage of development.
Accordingly, Vietnam strives to achieve an average GDP growth rate of 10%/year or more in the 2026-2030 period, GDP per capita by 2030 will reach about 8,500 USD/year... The major orientations of the Central Government have received high consensus and deep trust from all classes of people in the implementation process.
Along with the high consensus on development goals and orientations, local people expect the Congress to reasonably select a team of leaders for the next term who are dedicated and capable, meeting the requirements of building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation, creating a solid foundation for the country to achieve the development goal by 2030, becoming a developing country with modern industry and high average income; realizing the vision of becoming a developed country with high income by 2045.
Regarding the development of the locality in the coming term, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Vi Khe Ward Party Committee hopes that the decisions from the 14th National Party Congress will create favorable conditions for the locality to maximize its special advantages.
On that basis, the ward focuses on mobilizing and effectively using resources, prioritizing investment in building transportation and irrigation infrastructure; developing a green, sustainable economy associated with eco-tourism, experiential tourism, contributing to improving people's lives and income to firmly enter a new era of prosperity and happiness with the whole country.
