Human resource work needs to be carefully prepared and calculated
The National Assembly Chairman noted that personnel work at the 1st Session of the 16th National Assembly needs to be carefully and scientifically calculated to ensure reasonable time.
On January 12, in his closing speech at the 53rd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that after a period of urgent and serious work, the National Assembly Standing Committee has completed all contents.
Accordingly, the content of the meeting is to review and give opinions on the National Assembly's report on people's petition work in December 2025.
At the same time, 2 resolutions were passed: Resolution regulating the regime of granting and using uniforms, badges, and titles of leaders of People's Procuracies (VKSND) at all levels, Prosecutors, Inspectors, Investigation Officers and Certificates of Prosecutors; Resolution regulating the number and structure of the ratio of Prosecutor ranks of the VKSND and the Military Procuracy.
Speaking at the closing session, the National Assembly Chairman requested relevant agencies to coordinate and prepare the contents to submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee early and carefully; The Government needs to actively complete the project documents and submit them on time according to regulations.
Regarding the preparation for the program of the 1st Session of the 16th National Assembly, scheduled to be held in April 2026, the National Assembly Chairman noted that the arrangement and arrangement of content, especially personnel work at the session, needs to be carefully and scientifically calculated to ensure reasonable time.
In addition, the Delegation Work Committee and relevant agencies proactively develop and prepare appropriate plans.
As planned at the 1st Session, the content submitted to the National Assembly for consideration, comments and approval will increase from 10 to about 13 contents.
Therefore, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that agencies carefully review, focusing on truly urgent and necessary issues; and proactively prepare early and remotely for the contents to be presented at the session.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that after successfully organizing the 14th National Party Congress, the key task will be to prepare for the Lunar New Year and prepare for the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
For the preparation for Lunar New Year, the National Assembly Office needs to closely coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and related units to organize thoughtfully, ensuring practicality and efficiency.
Regarding election work, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that after the end of the inspection, the Chief of the Office of the National Election Council should urgently compile the results, report to the Politburo, the Secretariat and the National Election Council; and at the same time prepare well for the fifth meeting of the National Election Council, expected to be held before the Lunar New Year holiday.
The National Election Council needs to soon issue documents directing localities to implement election work during the Lunar New Year holiday; clearly define specific tasks that need to be carried out, ensure smooth leadership from the grassroots to the provincial level, and avoid negligence and interruption in election preparation due to Tet holiday.
