Hanoi Police announce important decision on personnel work
Hanoi - Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat, Deputy Director of the City Police Department, was appointed as Head of the City Police Investigation Security Agency.
On the afternoon of January 5, Hanoi City Police (CATP) held a ceremony to announce the Decision to appoint the position of Head of the Investigation Security Agency for Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat, Deputy Director of CATP.
Authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Hanoi City Police Department chaired the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police Department congratulated Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat on being trusted by the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and appointed to the position of Head of the City Police Department's Security Investigation Agency.
Assigning the task to Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat as Head of the CATP Security Investigation Agency, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung requested him to continue to strive to practice and improve his qualifications in politics, professional skills, law, information technology, and foreign languages; constantly innovate thinking and working methods to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new situation.
The Director of CATP emphasized that in the context of the world, regional and domestic situation continuing to have many complicated developments, the task of ensuring national security, maintaining social order and safety in the capital places increasingly high and heavier requirements.
In his new important position, Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat needs to continue to promote a sense of responsibility, uphold principles, promote the strength of solidarity and unity in the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the CATP and the Security Investigation Agency, proactively advise and direct the effective implementation of all aspects of security work.
The Director of CATP noted the key tasks in ensuring absolute security and safety of the 14th National Congress of the Party, scheduled to take place from January 19, 2026 to January 25, 2026; the election of the 16th National Assembly and People's Council delegates at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, taking place in March 2026.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung also directed the Security Security Departments of CATP to continue to closely coordinate and actively advise the Head of the Security Investigation Agency in preventing and combating all types of crimes and violations of national security laws; thereby contributing to maintaining political stability and social order and safety in the capital.
Speaking at the ceremony to receive the assignment, Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat - Deputy Director of CATP emphasized that this is both an honor and a great responsibility; at the same time, he expressed his determination to make the most efforts and efforts to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat affirmed that he will work with the leadership and command of the CATP Investigation Security Agency to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity; strictly implement the principle of democratic centralism, promote individual responsibility, build a strong and comprehensive CATP Investigation Security Agency, meet the requirements of national security protection, maintain social order and safety in the capital.
