VNA reported that on the afternoon of July 27 local time, within the framework of the working trip to Switzerland, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his wife Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga met with a group of officials and staff of Vietnamese representative agencies and the Vietnamese community in Switzerland.
Ambassador Mai Phan Dung, Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, the World Trade Organization and other international organizations in Geneva (Switzerland) said that despite the large workload and many challenges, the Delegation and the Embassy are honored and honored to be highly appreciated by international friends for Vietnam's role and voice.
Some organizations and countries consider Vietnam a model of sustainable socio-economic development, successful with a proactive foreign policy of international integration, multilateralization, and diversification, for peace, especially in the current context of a volatile world.

According to Ambassador Mai Phan Dung, the Vietnamese community in Switzerland has about 10,000 people in 26 states. The community is always patriotic, united, preserves national identity and has a spirit towards the homeland.
The community has many successful individuals in work, who are doctors, professors, doctors, working at major Swiss agencies, in addition to a group of Vietnamese experts and intellectuals working at international organizations in Geneva.
