Border area officials and students parade towards election day
Tuyen Quang - In the afternoon of March 12, a propaganda parade about election day took place in Tung Vai border commune with the participation of nearly 1,000 officials and students.
The activity aims to widely propagate the meaning and importance of the election. Raise awareness and responsibility of voters in exercising their rights and obligations as citizens.
In the brilliant red color of the national flag, banners, slogans, 989 people including officers and soldiers of Tung Vai Border Guard, union members, teachers and students participated in the propaganda parade through the main roads of the commune center.
Major Phan Thong Duc - Deputy Political Commissar of Tung Vai Border Guard Station said: "Promotion and propaganda parades help create a vibrant atmosphere among the people, and people in border areas understand the time, location and regulations when participating in voting.
Thereby affirming the role and responsibility of each citizen in selecting typical delegates, representing the will and aspirations of the people”.
According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Tung - Vice Chairman of Tung Vai Commune People's Committee, along with the parade and propaganda activities, the commune is actively implementing many forms of propaganda to bring information about elections to each village and voters.
Tung Vai commune has 6 election teams, 14 polling stations, 7,135 voters. Up to now, the preparation for the National Election Day has been carefully and readily prepared by the locality.
The bustling and excited atmosphere in the Tung Vai border area shows the concern and positive response of cadres, soldiers and people to the important political event of the country.
