Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung stated that history has been recorded when 80 years ago, on August 28, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh signed the Declaration of the establishment of a provisional government consisting of 13 Ministries, including the Ministry of Information, Propaganda, the predecessor of the current Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

According to the Minister, since the Party took charge, culture has been identified as an important front. The Vietnamese Cultural Outline of 2003 - the first Party's declaration on culture has identified three basic principles: "Ethnicity - Science - mass" in building and developing culture; to the Resolutions of the Congresses, thematic Resolutions of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo affirmed that culture is the soul of the nation, the driving force of development, the "soft power" of the nation.

Thanks to that correct and creative direction, the cultural sector's 50-year journey has created a singing school with many emotions: Culture has nurtured soul and identity, from the heroic music of the resistance culture, to the confident dances of integrated sports with high aspirations, with the footsteps of tourism to bring the country to the world and the press becoming a conductor of knowledge connecting trust between the Party and the People.
