Protecting the security of the 14th National Party Congress: For the peace of the people
Protecting the security and safety of the 14th National Congress of the Party is a particularly important political task. In Ninh Binh, the Provincial Police held a launching ceremony for the "Special Working Group - 35" to carry out the task of patrolling, controlling, preventing, and fighting against law violations in the area. The working group was built with the core force of elite officers and soldiers of the Criminal Police, Drug Police, Police 113, Mobile Police, Traffic Police and Police of wards and communes.
Colonel Phan Van Ly - Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police - emphasized that the establishment of the "Special Working Group - 35" demonstrates the high political determination of the entire provincial police force in firmly protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, sustainable crime reduction, creating a stable and safe environment for socio-economic development and contributing to protecting the security of the 14th National Party Congress.
In Hung Yen, the Provincial Police held a launching ceremony for the peak period of attacking and suppressing crime to ensure absolute security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress starting from December 12, 2025. In just the first 15 days of the campaign, the provincial police force detected and handled 701 cases with 777 criminals and law violators.
Notably, on December 31, 2025, Hung Yen Provincial Police successfully dismantled a major case, arresting 35 subjects in a property fraud and online gambling ring using high technology, with a total transaction value of up to VND 9,300 billion. This result shows the proactive and decisive capacity of local police in fighting new types of crimes, non-traditional crimes, contributing to maintaining security from the grassroots.
Highest combat readiness, absolute safety protection
If the local police play a role in stabilizing the grassroots, then the units and specialized forces of the Ministry of Public Security will be the key protective line, directly ensuring security for the particularly important goals, events and figures of the 14th National Party Congress.
In which, the Guard Command plays a core role in protecting the "inner circle". The 14th National Party Congress took place in the context of complex regional and world security developments, traditional risks intertwined with non-traditional challenges, especially activities that take advantage of technology, cyberspace and "no gunshot" approaches.
In response to that requirement, the Guard Command deployed a proactive and methodical approach: Standards from command to process, closed from plan to field. Major General Pham Thanh Hung - Commander of the Guard Command - affirmed that every stage must be carefully prepared, regularly reviewed, completed, ensuring that when officially operated, the entire system is "in position", the chains operate smoothly and consistently.
Based on the thematic resolution of the Party Committee of the Guard Command, protection plans and plans are carefully developed, inspected and reviewed at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) and related locations. Training, coaching and drills are organized seriously to unify the process and improve the courage to handle situations for officers and soldiers.
