Vietnam Social Security inspects and reviews all documents in 2026

Vietnam Social Security has just issued Plan No. 216/KH-BHXH on document inspection and review in 2026 to organize the synchronous, timely and correct implementation of document inspection and review work throughout the System; thereby ensuring the consistency, legality and unity of the document system in the field of activities of Vietnam Social Insurance.

According to the plan, the work of inspection and review of documents will be carried out on the basis of compliance with the correct authority, order and procedures according to the provisions of law; at the same time, clearly defining the content of work, progress, implementation period and responsibilities of units in the entire Vietnam Social Insurance system.

The scope of inspection focuses on: Circulars drafted by Vietnam Social Insurance and issued by the Minister of Finance in 2026; administrative documents drafted by Vietnam Social Insurance and issued by the Ministry of Finance; professional guidance documents, regulations, and rules with scope for adjusting the entire system issued by Vietnam Social Insurance in 2026.

The scope of review includes: Legal documents drafted by Vietnam Social Insurance and issued by the Minister of Finance in 2025; professional guidance documents, regulations, and rules with a scope of regulation for the entire system issued by Vietnam Social Insurance.

The review content focuses on detecting inappropriate, overlapping, contradictory, and illegal regulations (if any) to promptly propose amendments, supplements, replacements, repeals, or new promulgations; at the same time, establish and publish a list of documents that are still valid, expired, or suspended according to regulations.

The Legal Committee is assigned to preside over guiding, urging, inspecting and summarizing the implementation of the Plan; developing a report on the results of inspection, review and handling plan for documents submitted to the leaders of Vietnam Social Insurance for approval; implementing the reporting regime according to the requirements of the Ministry of Finance.

Units under Vietnam Social Insurance and Social Insurance of provinces and centrally run cities are responsible for organizing the serious implementation of assigned tasks; proactively reflecting difficulties, problems and inadequacies arising from practice to promptly propose solutions to perfect the document system, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the fields of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.
