Highland villages send full confidence to the Party Congress
Lao Cai - From workers working in factories to farmers in mountainous villages, there are many expectations for the 14th National Party Congress.
In the first days of the year, when the fog was still covering the Northwestern mountainsides, the atmosphere towards the 14th National Congress of the Party spread throughout the villages in the Lao Cai highlands.
On the basic loudspeaker system, information about the Congress is transmitted in simple, familiar language, directly linked to life, work, income - the issues that workers are most interested in.
In the highlands, where most people live on farms, raising livestock, working for hire or working in industrial parks and clusters, the Party Congress is not a distant story. For them, it is the hope of policies to help workers " have jobs, income, and a support" to feel secure in sticking to their villages and land.

Mr. Ly Lao Su, Secretary of the Party Cell of Nam Ngan village, Muong Bo commune shared: Since the electricity was created, the village's main road has been poured with concrete, the lives of people in all aspects have also improved day by day, getting closer to civilized life, developing like the central area.
Looking forward to the 14th National Congress of the Party, Party Cell Secretary Ly Lao Su believes that the Party and State will continue to pay attention to and invest in additional programs to develop transport infrastructure, while having many policies to support children of ethnic minorities.

In Tan Giang village, Trinh Tuong commune - where 100% of ethnic minorities are - Mr. Sung A Phu, a long-time agricultural worker, has worked with the villagers to renovate the village cultural house and share his belief in the Congress.
"We hope that the Party will continue to pay attention to the border area, helping people have land for production and stable jobs. When life improves, workers feel secure in their hometown, said Mr. Phu.

According to Ms. Ban Thi May, Secretary of Tan Giang Village Party Cell, many young workers in the village want to learn a trade and receive loans to develop production, expand livestock farming and cultivation.
" workers in border areas do not expect much, they just hope to have a stable job, a sufficient income to live on, and their children can study" - Ms. May shared.
Not only farmers, many workers working at agricultural and forestry processing and production facilities in the mountainous areas of Lao Cai also have high expectations for the Congress.

In Yen Binh commune, along Thac Ba lake, Ms. Me Thi Ai, a seasonal worker, hopes that after the Congress, there will be more policies to support stable job creation for female workers.
"We hope to have many production models and cooperatives so that local workers have long-term jobs and not have to travel far from home," said Ms. Ai.
According to Mr. Vien Dinh Hiep, Chairman of the People's Committee of Sin Che commune, Party Congresses always open up new opportunities for socio-economic development, especially in solving employment and sustainable poverty reduction for workers in mountainous areas.
"We really hope that the Party will continue to pay attention to investing in transportation, electricity, schools, healthcare and attracting businesses, creating livelihoods for local workers" - Mr. Hiep emphasized.
