Bac Lieu - After merging the two provinces of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau, Ca Mau province will have 64 communes and wards after the merger. All are named, no commune or ward numbers in order.

After the arrangement, Ca Mau province has a natural area of 7,942.38km2 (reaching 159% of the standard), a population of 2,606,672 people (reaching 186% of the standard) and 64 affiliated administrative units (55 communes and 9 wards).
