Establishing grassroots trade unions, enhancing benefits for workers from the first day

On June 2nd, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation said that it had organized a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the grassroots Trade Union of Cua Viet Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. At the same time, 16 workers were admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union organization. This is a meaningful activity to respond to Workers' Month and celebrate the Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026–2031 term.

The official establishment of the Trade Union organization at enterprises is an important milestone, helping workers have a solid foundation to protect their legitimate rights regarding salaries, insurance and working conditions. At the same time, the Trade Union organization will be a bridge to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations between the collective of workers and the company's board of directors.

Right on its first day of establishment, the grassroots Trade Union affirmed its role in caring for the practical lives of workers by organizing the "Trade Union Meal" program.

Notably, through the coordination and support of the Trade Union organization, the value of meals for union members and workers on this joyful day has been increased from 25,000 VND to 120,000 VND/meal. Improving the quality of meals not only ensures nutrition and regenerates labor, but also creates a cozy atmosphere and strengthens the strong bond between workers and businesses.
