More than 3,800 union members visited during Workers' Month in Quang Tri
Quang Tri - During Workers' Month, the Provincial Labor Federation visited more than 3,800 union members, admitted 1,500 new members, and promoted emulation movements.
On June 7, the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to summarize Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026; and directly connect the Launching Ceremony of the "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" emulation movement for the period 2026-2031 organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Attending the program were representatives of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Department of Home Affairs, members of the Executive Committee, the Provincial Labor Federation's Inspection Committee, full-time trade union officials, representatives of collectives and individuals commended, and a large number of grassroots trade union officials.
At the conference, delegates directly watched the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The movement aims to arouse the spirit of creative labor, sense of responsibility, promote productivity, product quality, work efficiency, improve income, and at the same time strengthen the competitiveness of enterprises.
Assessing the results of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health, trade union levels in the province have implemented many practical activities, mobilized more than 1.738 billion VND to care for union members, built 16 "Trade Union Homes", presented 200 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, and supported 20 cases of severe labor accidents. In total, 3,867 union members and workers were visited and received support.
Union member development work achieved many positive results: newly established 13 grassroots trade unions, admitted 1,500 new union members, reaching 141% of the plan. The Provincial Labor Federation has rewarded 9 collectives and 19 individuals with outstanding achievements in activities in response to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen The Lap acknowledged and praised the outstanding results of grassroots trade union units, and at the same time oriented key tasks for trade union levels to continue to effectively implement. He also quickly informed about the results of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026-2031 term.
