Car overturning in Lao Cai: The victim's husband gives support money to children

Recently, the story of Mr. Ha Ngoc Hung (husband of Ms. Huynh Thi Anh Dao - a victim who unfortunately died in a car accident in Phinh Ho commune) giving back the support money to take care of students in the highlands has caused strong emotions.

According to the report from the leaders of Hoa Mi Kindergarten and the People's Committee of Phinh Ho Commune, after receiving support money from the Fatherland Front of Lao Cai Province to give to the victim's relatives, Mr. Ha Ngoc Hung decided to return all this money to Hoa Mi Kindergarten.

Mr. Hung shared that this was done to fulfill the wish of his late wife. Instead of keeping it for his family, he hopes to contribute this resource to taking care of children's meals or supporting education in the locality.

Regarding this issue, in an interview with Lao Dong Newspaper, teacher Ha Thi Thanh Thuy - Vice Principal of Hoa Mi Kindergarten - said that from the money Mr. Hung donated, the school is asking for the commune's opinion on how to use it to build an auxiliary structure such as a kitchen, playground, roof or organize a meal for children at the Ta Ghenh Kindergarten.

According to this Vice Principal, the purpose of the construction is to recognize the hearts and commemorate the merits of the benefactors who have devoted and contributed to the school.

"The kindness of philanthropists towards the school and students in the highlands is very precious, the school also wants to have actions to commemorate everyone's contributions and hard work," Ms. Ha Thi Thanh Thuy added.

The Board of Directors emphasized that the school hopes to fulfill Mr. Hung's wish to do the most practical thing for the children's meals and education.

The school is committed to using the money donated by Mr. Hung in a practical and meaningful way. At the same time, when building, I will ask for opinions from the family so that I can be transparent and unified.
