Woman in Da Lat returns 200 million VND to mistaken transferee
Lam Dong - Suddenly receiving 200 million VND into the account, a woman in Lam Vien ward - Da Lat reported to the police to find the person who transferred it by mistake and return it.
On August 25, Lam Vien Ward Police - Da Lat (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just supported verification and refund of 200 million VND mistakenly transferred to people's accounts.
Previously, on the morning of August 24, Ms. Phan Thi Hien, residing in Lam Vien ward - Da Lat, came to the ward police to report that her bank account suddenly received 200 million VND.
She said she did not make any loan, borrowing or buying and selling transactions related to this amount of money.
Upon receiving the information, Lam Vien Ward Police - Da Lat quickly verified and identified the person who mistakenly transferred it as Mr. Phan Van Doan, residing in Dinh Van Lam Ha commune.
According to Mr. Doan, he transferred money to pay debts to his biological sister with the same name. However, due to incorrect bank information manipulation, the amount of 200 million VND was transferred to Ms. Hien's account.
After verification, under the witness of Lam Vien Ward Police - Da Lat, Ms. Hien transferred the entire amount of money back to Mr. Doan.
Ms. Hien's proactive action of reporting and returning the mistakenly transferred money contributes to spreading the beauty of honesty and kindness in the community.
