According to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, in the first quarter, the City's Front at all levels will preside over the implementation of the process of consulting and recommending candidates for People's Council candidates for the 2026 - 2031 term according to regulations; focusing on monitoring the election work.

The City Front evaluates the results of implementing the coordination regulations between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level and the People's Council and People's Committee at the same level for the period 2021 - 2026 and signs the coordination regulations for the period 2026 - 2031.

At the same time, issue regulations on coordination and unification of actions between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level with socio-political organizations and member organizations at the same level.

In particular, focus on organizing activities to care for the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year in 2026 for the poor, people in difficult circumstances, ethnic minorities in remote, isolated, border and island areas.

To achieve the highest results for the tasks of 2026 in general and the first quarter in particular, the City Front at all levels determined to focus on improving the capacity to organize implementation, discipline actions, output results; shifting from the way of doing according to plan to the way of doing according to goals and products; from progress reporting to efficiency reporting; from " do it" to " do it to the destination".

Socio-political organizations continue to promote their role as representatives and protectors of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and association members through many practical and effective activities. The city's front promotes social security work, actively implements programs to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, sustainably reduce poverty and promptly support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Entering 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Da Nang City focuses on improving the quality of supervision and social criticism, continuing to streamline the organization of the apparatus, innovating the content and methods of operation of campaigns and emulation movements in a practical and effective manner, close to the needs of the people.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee - suggested that in 2026, the City Fatherland Front continue to affirm its core role in strengthening the great national unity bloc, creating social consensus, contributing to the successful implementation of the city's political tasks.

Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang emphasized the key task of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Da Nang city this year is to coordinate the successful organization of the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
