Dong Thap provincial leaders visit and encourage the family whose house caught fire that killed two children
Dong Thap - Provincial leaders visited, shared and encouraged the families of two victims who died in a house fire in My Phuoc Tay ward.
On the morning of January 5, Mr. Tran Van Dung - Permanent Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Dinh Van Dung - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province and the working delegation visited, shared and encouraged the families of two victims who died in a house fire in My Phuoc Tay ward.
Immediately after the incident, leaders of My Phuoc Tay Ward People's Committee were present at the scene to direct the work of overcoming the consequences, visiting, encouraging the victim's family and giving initial support of 10 million VND to share the difficulties and losses with the family.
The Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province supported 4 million VND for the two victims and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward mobilized 5 million VND to support the family.
Currently, the bodies of the two children have been handed over to their families to be taken home for burial.
At about 10:00 p.m. on January 4, a house at 53 Nguyen Van Loc Street ( Quarter 1, My Phuoc Tay Ward, Dong Thap Province) belonging to a local resident, currently belonging to the family of Mr. T.T.D. (born in 1989, permanent resident of Vinh Phuc province) was hired to live when he caught fire.
At the time of the fire, Mr. D. and his wife were picking up agricultural products from a wholesale market in Ho Chi Minh City to bring to Cai Lay market to sell, leaving their two young children at home without anyone to look after them.
After receiving the report, the My Phuoc Tay Ward Police force quickly arrived at the scene, coordinating with local residents to break the door (the door is locked inside) to put out the fire. While controlling the fire, the authorities discovered the two children and quickly took them to Cai Lay General Hospital for emergency treatment, but both children died.
My Phuoc Tay Ward Police coordinated with the professional department of the Provincial Police and the People's Procuracy of the 4 provinces of Dong Thap to conduct a crime scene investigation and autopsy to clarify the cause of the incident.
