Over 1.7 billion VND to support people in the northern mountainous provinces
HCMC - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC received more than 1.7 billion VND to support people in the northern mountainous provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
On August 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City informed that from August 1 to 11:00 on August 18, the unit had received 1,785,069,946 VND from 118 agencies, units, organizations, enterprises and individuals in the city.
Currently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City coordinates with localities to organize the disbursement of funding to support, visit, and share with families who suffered losses in human lives and property due to natural disasters.
On the same day, the unit received 300 million VND to support people in the northern mountainous provinces from representatives of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation.
At the reception, Mr. Phan Hong An - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City thanked the affection and sharing of the units that have always actively accompanied the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City to support people in provinces and cities across the country affected by natural disasters.
At the same time, he pledged to allocate and use support resources to ensure timeliness, publicity, transparency, dung purpose and in accordance with the provisions of law to help people in disaster areas soon stabilize their lives.
