According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, updated the results of the campaign to support the people of Cuba (as of 6:00 p.m. on August 17, 2025) had 1.58 million donations with 310.9 billion VND received.
This figure has nearly exceeded the minimum target of 65 billion VND of the entire campaign by 5 times.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society would like to express our sincere thanks to the millions of hearts that have accompanied the program "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba's love".
Each contribution is not only material, but also a bridge of love, connecting the common, iron friendship between the two peoples.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hai Anh - Vice President, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the campaign program to support the Cuban people "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba affection" is within the framework of "Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Year 2025", commemorating the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (1960-2025).
The program will support the Cuban people with food, necessities and sustainable humanitarian activities.
This is not only a humanitarian campaign but also a strong message to international friends: "Vietnam is always by Cuba's side, as Cuba is always by Vietnam's side".
The trend of "operating fees" in support of Cuba is spreading strongly on Facebook
According to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, in recent days, surfing Facebook, many people have had to laugh with posts/ status "paying group/fanpage fees of 10K/year". However, spirituality soon learned that this was a creative way to call for support for the Cuban people in the "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba" Program.
