Lam Dong - Two people in Quang Tin commune proactively handed over 17 million VND mistakenly transferred by others, helping the police verify and return the correct account holder.
On August 6, Quang Tin Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had just received and supported the return of 17 million VND received by two people from mistaken transfer transactions.
Accordingly, Ms. Pham Thi Lan (born in 1993, residing in hamlet 15, Quang Tin commune) went to the Commune Police to report after suddenly receiving 10 million VND transferred to her account but the sender was unknown.
Similarly, Mr. Le Van Cuong (born 1994, residing in hamlet 6, Quang Tin commune) also proactively handed over 7 million VND mistakenly transferred to his account by others.
After receiving the information, Quang Tin Commune Police quickly verified the account holder, completed the procedures and returned the entire amount to the mistaken transferee.
Quang Tin Commune Police praised the honesty and responsibility of Ms. Pham Thi Lan and Mr. Le Van Cuong.
