An Giang Police hand over 15 solidarity houses to people in difficulty

The Department of Internal Security of An Giang Provincial Police has just coordinated with the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha and local authorities to organize the handover ceremony of 15 solidarity houses in Hoa Thuan commune and presented 200 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in Giong Rieng commune.

This is a practical activity to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress, while effectively implementing activities in the "Spring Volunteer" Program in 2026 associated with the movement "All people protect national security" and the emulation movement "The third" in the People's Public Security.

The houses built this time have an area of over 32m2, solid structure, corrugated iron roofs, tiled floor, ensuring stable and safe living conditions for beneficiary households. The total cost of building 15 houses is more than 525 million VND, supported by the Department of Internal Security mobilizing organizations, individuals, and philanthropists inside and outside the province. This is a practical source of encouragement, contributing to helping families in difficulty settle down to work with peace of mind and improve their lives.

In addition to handing over the house, the unit also presented many essential gifts such as household appliances and daily necessities to households.

On this occasion, the units coordinated to present 200 gifts, worth a total of 50 million VND to households in difficult circumstances in Giong Rieng commune. Thereby demonstrating the concern and sharing of the police force for the people, especially during the upcoming traditional New Year.

This activity is part of the "2 An" model (Security, Order - Social Security) implemented by An Giang Provincial Police in coordination with the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha and local authorities in the past time. Through the model, many meaningful social security activities have been organized, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, while maintaining stable security and order right from the grassroots.
