Handing over 2 charity houses to people in difficult circumstances in An Giang
An Giang - Two charity houses were donated to two households in difficult circumstances in Phu Huu commune.
On the afternoon of January 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Huu commune (An Giang province) coordinated with the Board of Directors of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha in Phu Huu commune to organize the donation of two charity houses to two households in difficult circumstances.
Accordingly, the two households receiving housing support during this period include Ms. Ho Thi My Trinh (residing in Vinh Phuoc Hamlet, Phu Huu Commune) and Mr. Tran Huu Luan (born in 2000, residing in Phu Thanh Hamlet, Phu Huu Commune). Of which, the house given to Ms. Ho Thi My Trinh had a total value of 40 million VND; the house given to Mr. Tran Huu Luan was worth 35 million VND. The funding source was mobilized from contributions and support from the Board of Directors of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha in Phu Huu commune.

Ms. Ho Thi My Trinh said that before, her family had to live in a makeshift, seriously degraded house, and every time there was heavy rain or strong wind, they were filled with fear. An unstable livelihood makes her unable to repair or rebuild her house. "I was very touched to receive support from the State and benefactors. The new house is my family's long-standing dream," Ms. Trinh shared.
Mr. Tran Huu Luan said that unstable income makes building a solid house beyond his ability. The support of a charity house not only helps Mr. Luan have a stable place to live but also gives him more motivation to work with peace of mind and develop his family's economy in the coming time.

Ms. Lam Thi Ngoc Giau - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Huu commune (An Giang province) - said that the program of building and donating charity houses is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", contributing to helping households in difficult circumstances gradually stabilize their lives. Thereby, strengthening the great national unity bloc, connecting the government, the Fatherland Front, religious organizations and local people.
Mr. Tran Van Pho - Head of the Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha in Phu Huu Commune (An Giang Province) said that in recent times, the Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha in Phu Huu Commune has always actively participated in charity - social activities, especially supporting housing for people in difficult circumstances. This is not only a social responsibility but also a concretization of the spirit of "for the law - for the nation", contributing to the local implementation of social security policies. The donation of two charity houses in Phu Huu commune not only has material value but also has profound spiritual significance, adding faith and hope to disadvantaged families, while spreading good human values in the community.
