Khanh Hoa girl returns nearly 19 million VND transferred by mistake
Khanh Hoa - Receiving strange money in her account, a girl in Khanh Hoa proactively reported to the police to find the person to return it.
On January 6, a representative of Cam An Commune Police (Khanh Hoa Province) said that the unit had just successfully supported the return of VND 18,740,000 to the person who transferred it by mistake, after a young woman in the area proactively reported the incident.
Previously, Ms. Tran Kim Nhung (21 years old, residing in Van Thuy 1 village, Cam An commune) suddenly discovered a large amount of money transferred to her personal account but of unknown origin. Realizing that this could be money transferred by mistake by others, Ms. Nhung quickly went to Cam An Commune Police to report, requested the authorities to verify and support the return to the owner.
Immediately after receiving the information, Cam An Commune Police conducted verification and identified the person who transferred the money by mistake as Mr. P.V.P, residing in Yen Lang Commune, Hanoi. The cause was determined to be errors in the process of making bank transfer transactions.
After clarifying the incident, with the witness and coordination of Cam An Commune Police, the entire amount of VND 18,740,000 was fully, intactly and promptly returned to Mr. P.V.P.
The representative of Cam An Commune Police highly appreciated and praised Ms. Tran Kim Nhung's honest and responsible actions.
