Affirming the role of a support for workers

In 2025, the trade union organization model will be reorganized and streamlined. In enterprises, grassroots trade unions still affirm their role as a reliable bridge between employees and employers.

At HD Hyundai - Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS), the grassroots trade union made a prominent mark in the context of the enterprise maintaining stable production.

The trade union has effectively promoted its role as a representative and protection of workers' rights through coordinating the organization of workers' conferences and periodic dialogues. Thereby, 100% of workers' recommendations were resolved.

Notably, the trade union has successfully negotiated a basic salary increase of 10% from 2026 and a performance bonus of 25 million VND/person. The work of caring for union members' lives was implemented synchronously with a total cost of more than 4.7 billion VND.

Sharing about the results of activities in 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Suong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Long Sinh Company Limited, said that the trade union has proactively surveyed the needs of workers and reviewed old collective labor agreements.

From there, negotiate and sign a new agreement with 4 articles and 24 contents of interest, increasing 6 contents compared to before, contributing to improving working conditions and benefits. The Long Sinh Trade Union also maintains at least one activity per month to enrich spiritual life and strengthen solidarity in the labor collective.

Union activities are recognized by enterprises through close coordination in internal communication, building corporate culture, promulgating regulations and rules and organizing emulation movements.

As an FDI enterprise with more than 5,000 union members, the Trade Union of INNOFLOW NT Company Limited, although still young, has made a clear impression. In 2025, the union will ensure that 100% of employees are able to sign contracts and fully participate in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.

At the same time, the trade union also closely supervises the implementation of salary, bonus, salary increase, leave and welfare policies.

The union also organizes many practical playgrounds such as the excellent sewing contest, INNOFLOW sports festival, competitions to honor the beauty of workers and award year-end awards to outstanding workers.

Focus on taking care of workers

According to Mr. Nguyen Thai Vu - Vice Chairman of HVS Trade Union, 2026 is the 30th anniversary of the company's formation and development.

The union is determined to continue to be a reliable support for workers, and at the same time, launch creative labor emulation movements associated with the task of production and business.

For Long Sinh Trade Union, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Suong said that the goal in 2026 is to promote digital transformation in trade union activities; gradually digitize the work of evaluating efficiency, and include trade union tasks in the workflow management system to ensure transparency and responsibility of each Executive Committee member.

At the same time, the trade union will implement at least one activity associated with the Sustainable Development standards (ESG). The focus is on raising awareness among workers about waste classification at source, contributing to building a green - sustainable working environment.

Ms. Thanh Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of INNOFLOW NT Company Limited - expressed her hope that in 2026, grassroots trade unions will continue to receive attention, professional guidance, skills training and resource support from higher-level trade unions to effectively implement welfare programs, culture - sports, promote labor laws and promptly support union members in difficulty.
