107 contestants compete at Da Nang Level I Coach Contest
Da Nang - The 2026 City Level I Coach Contest has 107 contestants participating, competing in 4 rounds with 17 subjects.
On August 8, the Da Nang City Youth Union Committee organized the opening ceremony of the 16th Da Nang City Level I Coach Contest, 2026.
Taking place in two days, August 8 and 9, the contest gathered 107 contestants who are officials, union members, association members, youth, and students from units in the city.
With the slogan "Understand theory; Good skills; Overcome challenges; Overcome yourself", the contestants went through 4 rounds of competition with 17 subjects.
In which, "Hiểu lý luận" includes exam subjects related to knowledge. "Giỏi kỹ năng" focuses on practical skills subjects. "Chinh phục thử thách" includes content about team spirit, teamwork. "Vượt qua chính mình" tests advanced personal skills such as rhetoric, criticism, model design and situation handling.
At the contest, the Organizing Committee built a playground and space for national level I coaches of Da Nang city through various periods to meet, exchange, review memories, and contribute ideas and experiences to the Association's work and the city's youth movement.
Speaking at the opening of the contest, Mr. Nguyen Ba Duan, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Da Nang City, said that to meet the standards of a City Level I Coach, participating contestants must pass the skills tests, grasp knowledge about the Party - Youth Union - Association, culture, history, and local geography.
Practical skills closely linked to the reality of life, survival skills in nature, and skills to organize youth activities. This will be a measure of the proficiency of the city's first-level new coaches. I believe that with a high determination and the training and selection process at the grassroots level of the units, this year's contest will select truly worthy new coaches," Mr. Duan said.
The activity is organized to implement the 2026 Youth Union and Youth Movement Work Program. This is also an activity in response to the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Youth Federation.
In addition, the contest aims to achieve achievements to celebrate the success of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Da Nang City, term 2026-2029.
