5 more Trade Union Shelters handed over to union members in Binh Thuan
Binh Thuan - 5 Union Shelters were given to union members before the district-level Labor Federation ended its activities.
On June 25, 5 more union members were happy to receive the handover of the Union Shelter in Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province. Of which, 4 newly built Trade Union Shelters and 1 Trade Union Shelter have been repaired.
In recent weeks, the Trade Union Shelters have been urgently constructed to hand over to union members in difficult circumstances before the end of the district Labor Federation's activities according to the decision of the Binh Thuan Provincial Labor Federation, effective from July 1, 2025.
On June 9, Ham Thuan Bac District Labor Federation also handed over 1 newly built Trade Union Shelter and 2 repaired Trade Union Shelters. The total number of Trade Union Shelters donated by Ham Thuan Bac District Labor Federation to union members since the beginning of the year is 8, including 5 newly built houses.
The funding source for the construction and repair of the Trade Union Shelter is provided by the Binh Thuan Provincial Federation of Labor from the "Binh Thuan Trade Union Social" fund. Each newly built Trade Union Shelter is supported with 40 million VND and each repaired house is supported with 20 million VND. The remaining money to complete the house was accumulated and borrowed from relatives by union members to build a more spacious house.
The Trade Union Shelters awarded to union members in difficult circumstances demonstrate the role of the trade union organization in caring for their lives and helping union members settle down and make a living. Thereby, encouraging union members to work hard, produce, complete assigned tasks well, and stabilize their lives.
