Long Son Commune Labor Union mobilizes voluntary blood donation
HCMC - The Long Son Commune Labor Union has announced and mobilized workers to participate in the voluntary blood donation program organized by the locality on December 22.
On December 18, the Long Son Commune Union (HCMC) is mobilizing union members and workers to participate in a voluntary blood donation program organized by local authorities.
The program was organized by the People's Committee of Long Son commune in coordination with the Red Cross Society of the commune and related units. Employees participating in blood donation will be consulted, screened, and receive donated blood, ensuring safety, science and effectiveness.
Workers can register to participate by scanning the QR code, texting the Long Son fanpage or volunteers.
The voluntary blood donation program is expected to start at 7:00 a.m. on December 22, at the hall of the People's Committee of Long Son commune, Ho Chi Minh City.
The Long Son Commune Trade Union has issued a document notifying and mobilizing enterprises and grassroots trade unions in the area. Voluntary blood donation is a noble gesture, demonstrating the spirit of humanity and responsibility of each individual towards the community; contributing to saving the lives of patients and spreading profound human values in society. Therefore, it is hoped that there will be many union members and workers in the area volunteering to donate blood.
