Hue City Trade Union donates to support people in the North after storms No. 10 and 11
Hue Trade Union launched a fundraising campaign, calling on union members and workers to join hands to support people in the northern provinces that suffered heavy damage due to the storm.
On the afternoon of October 20, the Hue City Labor Federation (Hue City Labor Federation) organized a fundraising program to support people in the northern provinces who suffered heavy damage caused by storms No. 10 and 11.
This meaningful and humane activity was launched in the spirit of "mutual love", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", attracting the participation of many cadres, civil servants, union members, and workers of the Hue City Labor Federation and affiliated units such as the Hue City Labor Culture House and Technology College No. 10. Each individual donated at least 1 day's salary, the estimated amount is about 16 million VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Nhan - Chairman of the Hue City Labor Federation emphasized that although the lives of union members and workers in the area still have many difficulties, in the face of the huge losses in human lives and property that the people of the Northern provinces are suffering, we need to join hands and contribute. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a valuable source of encouragement, helping people soon overcome disasters, stabilize their lives and restore production.
The entire amount of donations will be compiled by the Hue City Labor Federation and transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, to promptly send to people in the northern provinces heavily affected by natural disasters.
