Company's grassroots union in Bac Ninh launches support for people in flooded areas

On the afternoon of October 9, the Trade Union, New wing Interconnect Technology Limited Liability Company (Bac Giang), Van Trung Industrial Park organized a fundraising campaign to support people in Bac Ninh province affected by natural disasters and floods.

Attending were Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.

At the program, the company's trade union called for voluntary support from all employees working at the enterprise. Each person shares a portion of their income to join hands to share difficulties and promptly support people in the province affected by storm No. 11. Thereby, helping people to quickly overcome the damage, restore production and stabilize their lives.

Union members donate through two forms: transfer or directly until October 16. The entire amount of donations will be compiled by the company's union; a part will be allocated to directly support union members and workers of the company affected; the rest will be transferred to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to carry out relief activities for people in the province affected by storm No. 11.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that in recent days, the impact of storm No. 11 and heavy rain from the storm's circulation have caused severe damage in many localities, especially the lives of people.

Currently, the whole province still has about 6,000 isolated households, who are in great need of community cooperation and support. Mr. Thach Van Chung thanked the company's leadership for their attention and support in grassroots trade union activities, making an important contribution to improving the lives of union members and workers and the socio-economic development of the province.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity, "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" of the nation, Mr. Thach Van Chung hopes that at today's ceremony, each union member will show a noble gesture, contribute a small part, help people in flooded areas to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
