Can Tho City Charity Bus departs to support people affected by storms and floods

The activity was organized and promoted by the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) in coordination with the Can Tho City Youth Union and the Vietnam Student Association of the city. Accordingly, after about 4 days of mobilization, the program received nearly 20 tons of goods, including 4 oxygen fans, 7.5 tons of rice, 511 boxes of instant noodles, 338 boxes of milk, medicine and many other medical supplies...

With the active support of union members, youth, students, union officials and coordinating units, nearly 20 tons of goods and necessities were loaded onto trucks and sent to Ha Tinh province to support people.

Can Tho Trade Union Golden Heart Social Charity Fund Branch also supported 50 million VND for Nghe An, Lao Cai, and Thai Nguyen provinces that were suffering damage due to the impact of storm No. 10.

It is known that after the first trip to Ha Tinh, Can Tho Trade Union is mobilizing and receiving goods and necessities for the next Charity trip, to support people suffering damage caused by storms and floods.

On the same morning, at the headquarters of Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, the Executive Committee of the unit's Trade Union organized a fundraising campaign to support people in areas affected by storms and floods. The activity received enthusiastic response from all officers, employees and workers at the company, with an amount of nearly 37 million VND.

In addition to taking place at the head office, the donation activity will also be held at the company's branch in Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park, Mekong Delta General warehouse, along with all branches of the airline sales sector affected by storms and floods and will last until October 13.

In particular, Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and the Trade Union also organized a team to examine and distribute free medicine to people in the northern region affected by storms and floods.
