28 million VND to support a worker couple in distress on the way home
Can Tho - JIA ZHI Soc Trang Trade Union presented 28 million VND to help the worker couple overcome the difficult period.
On July 13, the Trade Union of JIA ZHI Company Limited, Soc Trang Branch, presented donations to the family of union members in difficult circumstances who had unexpected accidents.
Previously, at around 10:30 p.m. on June 30, 2025, on their way home from work, Mr. Viet and Ms. Dao (both workers working at the company) were unfortunately attacked by a group of subjects, resulting in serious leg injuries and had to be hospitalized in critical condition. However, the cost of medical care, living expenses and recovery after the accident is quite large while the couple's family is still facing many difficulties, young children, and unstable income.
The Executive Board of the grassroots Trade Union quickly launched a fundraising movement among all officers, employees, and employees in the company to share some of the burden and give them more motivation to overcome this difficult period.
Up to now, the grassroots union has provided 2 support packages to Mr. Viet's family with a total amount of about 28 million VND.
