Promoting the establishment of commune and ward trade unions in Vinh Long

According to the plan of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor, from January 5 to 11, the Provincial Federation of Labor will carry out many important activities, focusing on reporting the results of the Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term as requested by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

At the same time, promote the establishment of commune and ward trade unions, promote propaganda and mobilization to develop union members, establish grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions. The Provincial Federation of Labor also announced a schedule for receiving documents and settling union financial transactions in the 3 areas of Vinh Long, Tra Vinh and Ben Tre before the merger.

The first Conference of the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee will organize and approve important documents including the action program to implement the Resolution of the First Provincial Federation of Labor Congress of Vinh Long Province (term 2025-2030), the working program for the entire Executive Committee, operating regulations and assigning tasks to members.

The conference also approved a summary report on union activities, a plan to develop union members, improve the quality of dialogue, care for workers and digital transformation of union work.

The Provincial Federation of Labor directs and guides the grassroots trade unions to organize conferences for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers; workers' conferences; dialogues at the workplace; and at the same time negotiate and sign collective labor agreements.

In addition, the grassroots trade unions summarized trade union activities in 2025, developed a work program for 2026; rewarded collectives and individuals with achievements, and launched a patriotic emulation movement among union members and workers.
