Binh Dinh Labor Federation announces decision to reorganize
Binh Dinh - End the operation of 3 trade unions, establish 2 trade unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF).
On February 14, the Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to announce the decisions to end the activities of the Civil Servants' Union, Education Trade Union, Provincial Health Trade Union; decided to establish the Trade Union of Party agencies and the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union; decided to hand over grassroots trade unions under the Education Trade Union, Health Trade Union to the local Labor Federations.
With this event, Binh Dinh Labor Federation is one of the units that quickly implemented the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and local Party committees on continuing to implement Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.
The newly established units will officially operate from February 10, 2025. The transfer and receipt of records, documents, people, finance, and assets must be completed before March 1, 2025.
The Trade Union of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Agencies is under the Provincial Federation of Labor and is the direct superior of 23 grassroots trade unions, with 729 union members received from the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union. The Executive Committee appointed by the Provincial Federation of Labor has 11 members, the Standing Committee has 3 members. Chairman of the Binh Dinh Education Trade Union Tran Phan Phi Hung holds the position of Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union for the 2023 - 2028 term.
The Provincial People's Committee Trade Union is under the Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor, the direct superior of 53 grassroots trade unions with 8,512 union members received from the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union. The Executive Committee appoints 15 members, the Standing Committee has 5 members. Chairwoman of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union Nguyen Thi Phuong Loan is the Chairwoman for the 2023 - 2028 term.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor Ha Duy Trung acknowledged the important contributions of collectives and individuals at the 3 unions that have just ended their activities. Mr. Trung requested the two newly established trade unions to urgently develop working regulations; assign specific tasks to each member of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee; develop programs and operation plans in accordance with the regulations of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter.
The handover and receipt of functions, tasks, organizations, personnel, finance, assets, etc. requires close coordination between units. Difficulties and problems that arise need to be identified, reported promptly, and have appropriate solutions to ensure that trade unions at all levels operate effectively, efficiently, smoothly, and without interruption.
