Great expectations from workers in Khanh Hoa province
The contents approved at the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 are receiving great consensus and expectations from union members and workers in Khanh Hoa province.
As a representative of more than 10,000 workers at Innoflow NT Co., Ltd. Branch, Ms. Quang Thi My Nhung - Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of the enterprise - shared that the biggest aspiration of union members and workers (ĐV, NLĐ) is to have their rights and practical interests protected by the Trade Union organization.
According to Ms. My Nhung, the enterprise has more than 90% female workers and the majority are ethnic minority workers. Therefore, the role of grassroots trade unions in caring for life, protecting rights and accompanying union members and workers is of particular importance.
I am very impressed with the contents discussed and approved at this Congress, especially the continued affirmation of the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; promoting the implementation of democracy at the workplace; propagating and mobilizing workers to innovate and be pioneers in applying science and technology in production" - Ms. My Nhung shared.
One of the contents that received attention is the target of striving for at least 65% of workers at enterprises to participate in studying to improve their qualifications and professional skills.
According to representatives of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union delegation, with more than 93,000 union members, the locality also proposed building and perfecting policies to develop the labor market in a modern, sustainable direction, suitable to new development requirements. In which, it is necessary to strengthen forecasting of human resource demand for key economic sectors such as industry, logistics, seaports, tourism - services, marine economy and Van Phong Economic Zone. At the same time, promote labor supply and demand connection.
Supporting retraining and vocational conversion training for workers affected by economic fluctuations, automation and occupational restructuring is expected to contribute to ensuring stable jobs, increasing income and improving the lives of union members and workers in the province.
At the exchange program between the Prime Minister and delegates attending the Congress, many issues related to human resource development were also raised. This is also the direction that union members and workers in Khanh Hoa expect to soon concretize with practical policies in the coming time.
