Ending the operation of 94 grassroots trade unions in Thanh Oai district
Hanoi - 94 grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of State budget salaries in Thanh Oai district have ended their operations.
According to Chairwoman of the Thanh Oai District Labor Federation (LDLF) Nguyen Thi Hao, implementing the directives of the Central Government, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the City Party Committee, the Hanoi City Labor Federation and the Thanh Oai District Party Committee on streamlining the organization of the political system to operate effectively and efficiently, the District Labor Federation has ended the operation of 94 grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of State budget salaries; dissolved 28 grassroots trade unions of the business sector that were not qualified to operate; handed over 40 grassroots trade unions to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management.
On June 26, the District Labor Federation officially handed over 40 grassroots unions under the Thanh Oai District Labor Federation to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management.
Previously, the leaders of the Hanoi City Labor Federation directly visited the Trade Union of Viet Nhat Plastic Production Company Limited (under the Thanh Oai District Labor Federation) to grasp the organization and operation of the unit's trade union. According to the unit's report, the Company currently has over 1,700 employees; the Company's trade union activities have been and are being effectively implemented, receiving support from the Company's Board of Directors and the active response of many union members and workers.
The leaders of the Hanoi City Labor Federation, the leaders of the Thanh Oai District Labor Federation and the Chairman of the Trade Union of Viet Nhat Plastic Manufacturing Company Limited signed a record of transfer and receipt of the Company's Trade Union to the Hanoi City Labor Federation for management. Through that, it demonstrates the closeness of the Hanoi City Labor Federation towards grassroots unions, ensuring continuous, unified transition, and maintaining the role of trade union organizations at the grassroots level.
