Inauguration of a 1.2 billion VND boarding house for teachers in mountainous areas

On the morning of June 18, in Truong Son commune (Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province), the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor held an inauguration ceremony and installed a signboard for the teacher boarding house project in Truong Son commune. The project has a total cost of 1.2 billion VND, from the support of the Trade Union Social Fund and the counterpart capital of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh district.

The boarding house was solidly built, including 5 rooms, a closed toilet area and synchronous auxiliary items, ensuring essential living conditions for teachers working in particularly difficult mountainous areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phan Thanh Lan - Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor said that the use of boarding houses will help teachers feel secure in their accommodation, thereby staying long-term, overcoming difficulties to successfully complete the task of educating children of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas.

At the program, the Provincial Federation of Labor presented a sign symbolizing the construction support to the school's Board of Directors, and also presented additional essential items for daily activities. The representative of the teachers was moved to thank the attention of the Trade Union organization, considering this a great source of encouragement to continue to " mention the word" on the border of the Fatherland.

After the speech, delegates performed the ceremony of cutting the ribbon to inaugurate and attaching signs to the project to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels.

This is a project of great humanitarian significance, demonstrating the role of the Trade Union organization not only as a support for rights but also a solid spiritual support for union members in disadvantaged areas, remote areas.
