The proud 25-year journey of Nghe An Civil Servants' Union
Nghe An - On the afternoon of February 27, a meeting conference was held in Vinh City to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants' Union (2000 - 2025).
Speaking at a speech reviewing the process of building and developing, Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of Nghe An Civil Servants' Union said that after 25 years of building and developing with 5 congresses, up to now, the Civil Servants' Union has 49 grassroots unions with more than 4,000 union members.
From the date of establishment, the union of officials and employees has always received the attention and leadership of the provincial Labor Federation and the Party Committee of the provincial agencies; the interest of creating conditions of the Party committees and grassroots expertise; Trade union activities are constantly innovating content, operational methods, and facilities; Take the movement to do the key tasks to build an organization and take care of the union members.
The work of caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members has always been focused on by the grassroots union. Policy regimes for civil servants and public employees are guaranteed; periodic salary increases, early salary increases, promotion, transfer, and retirement are implemented in accordance with state regulations; emulation and fair reward implementation.
Every year, grassroots trade unions coordinate with professionals to organize training sessions inside and outside the province for civil servants and public employees, organize the Tet Sum Vay program, meet at the beginning of Spring to create an intimate and warm atmosphere.
In addition to activities to care for its union members, grassroots unions and union members are always at the forefront of social, humanitarian, and charitable activities, demonstrating the responsibility of civil servants and public employees towards the people.
At the conference, reviewing 25 years of formation and development, delegates acknowledged the great role and contribution of Nghe An Civil Servants' Union, expressing their confidence that the Provincial Civil Servants' Union will continue to promote its pioneering role in the era of national growth.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged and was proud of the achievements that the Civil Servants' Union has achieved over the past 25 years.
Sharing with the concerns of the leaders of the union of officials and employees over the periods, the head of Nghe An Labor Federation said that, along with 5 unions of branches and trade union of officials will also be terminated operations to establish 2 new unions directly new facilities.
Although the name of the Civil Servants' Union no longer exists, I hope the Executive Committee of the Civil Servants' Union and grassroots unions will continue to promote the tradition of the Nghe An Civil Servants' Union, striving to build an increasingly strong union organization - Mr. Kha Van Tam expressed.
The conference presented the emulation flag of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor to Nghe An Civil Servants' Union, and awarded certificates of merit to Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh and Ms. Dao Thi Thanh Mai for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong union organization in 2024.
