Luu Ve Commune Trade Union innovates operations, builds a strong organization

On January 19, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation announced that Luu Ve Commune Labor Union had just held a conference to summarize union activities in 2025, deploy directions and tasks for 2026.

Luu Ve Commune Trade Union was established on July 1, 2025, currently managing 15 grassroots trade unions with 4,868 union members. Although it has just come into operation in the context of many changes in the organization of the Trade Union apparatus, under the leadership of the Commune Party Committee and the guidance of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, the Commune Trade Union has gradually stabilized the organization, effectively implemented movements and activities, and cared for the lives of union members and workers.

In 2025, the Commune Trade Union will focus on performing well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. Many practical care activities were implemented such as "Union Meals", organizing union members' birthdays, supporting union members in difficult circumstances, visiting union members on holidays and Tet.

From August 2025 to now, the Commune Trade Union has proposed that the Thanh Hoa Trade Union Support Fund support 66 union members and workers with serious illnesses, with a total amount of nearly 163 million VND. In addition, the Commune Trade Union continues to pay attention to developing union members and building a strong Trade Union organization. In November 2025 alone, the unit completed the dossier to establish another grassroots trade union for the enterprise sector, admitted 516 new union members; 100% of grassroots trade unions developed and implemented operating regulations and coordination regulations with employers.

In 2026, the Luu Ve Commune Trade Union determined to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; promote propaganda and mobilize union members to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State. This is also the first year of implementing the Resolutions of the Trade Union Congress at all levels, thereby improving the effectiveness of emulation movements, enhancing care, representation, and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization.
