Duc Trong Commune Trade Union has a new chairman

On January 15, the Duc Trong Commune Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) held the First Provisional Executive Committee Conference.

At the conference, the unit announced the decisions of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation on organization and personnel work, including: Decision to establish the Commune Trade Union; decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and the position of Provisional Chairman of the Commune Trade Union.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Duc Trong Commune Trade Union consists of 11 members, the Standing Committee consists of 3 members; Mr. Nguyen Thien Tien was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Duc Trong Commune Trade Union.

Immediately after its launch, the Executive Committee of the Commune Trade Union discussed and decided on many important contents related to the organization and operation of the trade union such as: Issuing working regulations; assigning tasks to members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee.

Currently, Duc Trong Commune Trade Union manages 46 grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions with more than 3,000 union members and workers.

Mr. Nguyen Thien Tien - Chairman of Duc Trong Commune Trade Union - said that the regimes on salary, social insurance and working conditions at the units are basically guaranteed according to the provisions of law.

However, the income of many unskilled workers working in agricultural processing enterprises is still low compared to the general level, directly affecting the lives of union members and workers.

The commune union will accompany grassroots unions, increase dialogue and negotiation with employers to improve wages and welfare policies for workers, Mr. Tien emphasized.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Vu Thi Oanh - Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation oriented a number of key contents in the coming time.

In particular, focusing on taking care of the 2026 Lunar New Year for union members and workers; innovating the content and methods of activities with the motto "All union members have Tet".

In addition, the trade union continues to promote propaganda about the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
