The union president is dedicated to 2,350 workers

On January 13, Ms. Pham Thi Be Tien - a sewing machine 38 at Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise (Lien Huong commune, Lam Dong province) - shared her excitement and happiness at working here.

According to Ms. Tien, workers in the factory always receive timely attention and help from the trade union organization, especially Mr. Nguyen Hoa - Chairman of the grassroots trade union.

For workers, Mr. Nguyen Hoa and the union are like relatives in the family; those who are happy are congratulated, those who are sick or in difficulty or in trouble are visited and encouraged in a timely manner.

The cases of workers in difficult circumstances or suffering from serious illnesses in each sewing line and each production department are well known by Mr. Hoa. "He is always a solid support for the workers of Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise," Ms. Tien expressed.

Ms. Tien emotionally shared that the memory she will never forget is when she had breast cancer, Mr. Nguyen Hoa directly visited, encouraged and organized a donation and support of more than 76 million VND on behalf of the union.

Thanks to that sharing, she has overcome many radiotherapy sessions, gradually stabilized her health to continue treatment and return to work.

For his part, Mr. Nguyen Hoa - Chairman of the Tuy Phong Garment Factory Trade Union - said that he started working at the factory in 2013. With a passion for his career and enthusiasm for social activities, he was admitted to the Party in 2015.

With the trust of union members and workers, Mr. Hoa was elected as a union official in 2016 and has held the position of Chairman of the grassroots union since 2021.

Mr. Hoa shared: "We always strive to accompany the Board of Directors of this factory to take care of this common roof, because behind it are 2,350 workers' families who always trust, pledge and expect".

With a sense of responsibility and dedication to union members and workers, Mr. Hoa and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union have organized many practical and meaningful activities to encourage and motivate workers.

These activities always receive the consensus and large response of union members and workers; notably, regular visits and timely support for workers in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses are regular.

In addition, the union also organizes cultural, sports, sightseeing, picnicking programs, "Family Day"; gives birthday gifts, rewards the children of good workers... contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere and strengthening solidarity in the factory.
